From Our Editors

Bella Italia prides itself on sourcing authentic Italian ingredients for their traditional cuisine. They import pasta from the Gaetarelli family near Lake Garda, tomato sauce from the Emilia-Romagna region in northern Italy, and cured meats from the Fontana family. Established in 1991, Bella Italia boasts eateries across the length and breadth of England, including the cities of London, Manchester, Leeds and Oxford. Their menu features a wide range of pizzas, pastas and Italian classics, with an array of wines available to pair with any dish. The restaurants' interiors are styled in a quirky Mediterranean design, with many featuring Vespas and cosy booths.

Disappointed, the menu was very small, they had no pizzas and a even more reduced starter menu.

Great veggie and gluten free menu and good staff. Very friendly and efficient.

There is a good selection to choose from on the taste of Italy menu. The staff were friendly and efficient in the busy evening service. I enjoyed garlic bread starter with meatball pasta main. The silician lemon cheesecake was my pudding. I'm afraid the cheesecake was not to my liking, texture slight lumpy.. perhaps ricotta. There is usually a good offer on meals at Bella Italia if you avoid Saturday.

Bland food which is obviously frozen. Chicken was rubbery and neither dishes had much sauce. Will not be back.
