The story of Jamie's Italian began when Jamie Oliver, supported by his Italian mentor, chef Gennaro Contaldo, opened the first restaurant in Oxford in 2008. Since then, the kitchen's experienced chefs have been committed to bringing a piece of Italy to customers all over the UK, with a menu combining traditional recipes and quality ingredients with innovative ideas and Jamie's signature twist. Guests can savour an array of dishes, including freshly made pasta, as well as steaks, pizzas and salads that can be complemented by a fine selection of wine and cocktails.
They were helpful, accomodating and the food was good!
Steak was tough and spaghetti carbonara had too many spring onions in it!
EXCELLENT SERVICE AT CARDIFF BY THE NEW ITALIAN WAITER. . FOOD WAS LOVELY. WE OPTED FOR BRUSCHETTA AND PASTA BOLOGNAISE..
Only a few dishes on the menu, half required extra charge. Food was average. I don’t think we saved anything in the end.
Service and resturabt was great, food looked pretty. Only complaint was that the pasta starter and main was very chewy, i like pasta aldente but this was too much
The food is lovely but was less than impressed with the table as it was right next to the door which meant freezing cold air everytime someone came in. This at Cardiff branch .
When told we had a voucher we were told what we could order
Good service, good food & a good choice of food for the offer (not the full menu).
Food bland and uninteresting, not what you’d expect from jamies
