From Our Editors

The Devil's Porridge Museum commemorates the dedication of countless individuals whose sacrifices prevented a greater human cost during the last's century's global conflicts. The history of the Great War is explored by focusing on HM Factory Gretna, the largest munitions site of its type, while the 1939-1945 era and the Cold War are examined by telling the story of The Solway Military Coast. Visitors can refuel at the cafe offering snacks and light lunches and browse souvenirs and other items at the gift shop.

Interesting story of how the manufacture of codite began in the area. Museum tells it from "the people's" perspective which made it different from other museums.
