RSPB Fairburn Ings nature reserve provides the setting for visits, inviting adults and children to take in the sights. The reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including kingfishers, willow tits, tree sparrows and butterflies. Visitors might also be lucky enough to spot some bats in flight, depending on the time of year. The wetlands can be an ideal place to spot numerous water birds.

Wonderful place to spend time looking at wildlife and the pond dipping was fun with my grandson catching things

Really nice place to spend a few hours amongst nature. Went in the Summer holidays with two children (8 & 9) and they really enjoyed the pond dipping & duck feeding - we enjoyed the hot drinks too! They also did a craft activity and a bug hunt which was a small extra charge but worth it. Very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful staff.
