What You'll Get
Groupon finds out more about the orthokeratology treatment performed at Wake and See.
What is orthokeratology?
A treatment which is designed to improve vision through the use of corneal reshaping technology. It is an alternative to the use of glasses or contact lenses, and does not involve any kind of laser surgery.
How does it work?
Special lenses or 'shells' are worn at night when sleeping to temporarily mould the surface of the eye. Clients then remove the shells upon waking, with the effects designed to last during the day. The vision correction is semi-permanent and completely reversible, with effects maintained nightly.
What happens during the first session?
After registering, clients will receive a consultation to make sure they're suitable for treatment. Registration covers measurements and scans of the eyes and retinas, and the production of the customised shells which are then taken home.
What else is included?
The one-month plan also includes consultations within that time-frame and access to a 24-hour emergency number. Further treatment may be required for best results.
Rooted in the successful Rose Optometrist group, Wake and See takes a pioneering, laser-free approach to vision correction. They are open 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday.
