The Imperial Arms is a family-run, traditional English gastro pub and bistro with a pretty walled garden plus outside seating. Their menu is a mix of homemade British classics along with Thai, Indian, and Mediterranean favourites dating back to 1879 with a beautiful and cosy seven table restaurant also in the original Coach House. Both have wonderful reasonably priced wine lists. Customers can choose to dine in either. They have been No1 on trip Advisor for the past 3 years and have won awards for their perfectly kept real ales and lagers.
A great, good value lunch in their tiny courtyard garden. Friendly service. Will definitely return.
Great food . Had a lovely meal in the lodge house
Lovely friendly pub, food was very good. Will be going back, a good find.
Good food, and friendly service in a cosy setting.
Although we booked a table online a table wasn’t reserved for us however staff were helpful and got table for us and service was good and long with food
We were greeted and shown to our table as soon as we arrived. Food was tasty, although the menu a bit sparse and the polite gent was apologetic that the ice cream I wanted was out of stock, coffee after not so good. Can describe the food as an upgrade from cafe food with their own spin on things with artisan chips and homemade sauces. Overall it was a tasty and nice evening.
The hosts were lovely, so friendly and accommodating, food was awesome and the coach house is a super setting for dinner, great experience, Dean & Nat
