First opened in Soho in 1926, Patisserie Valerie follows artisanal baking traditions brought to London by Belgian-born Madam Valerie, whose mission was to introduce continental patisserie to the English. Now boasting over 120 venues nationwide, the company adorns its cafes with a 1950s-inspired decor and serves up an array of freshly made cakes, craft pastries, breakfasts, lunches, coffees and loose-leaf teas. Their specialities include meticulously crafted croissants and viennoiseries, as well as homemade Italian-style gelato.
Really friendly, fantastic service and gorgeous food, the afternoon tea for “2” was more than enough for 3 of us! Would definitely recommend
The most perfect afternoon tea.
Great service and yummy food..what more could you ask for. Absolute bargain at £19, more than enough food and even ended up with a doggy bag to enjoy later.
Lovely food very prompt and attentive staff too
Our first visit for Afternoon Tea, but definitely not going to be our last!
Voucher was easy to use, just turned up, no pre booking and showed details on the phone....excellent
Fabulous service in Colchester with delicious food.
We had Afternoon Tea for two at Patisserie Valerie, Chester. The shop is in the City Centre and is surrounded by outstanding old buildings built around the 17th & 18th century.
There are several steps down to enter the store. We ate here a few years ago and it does not appear to have changed.
Some of the tables are very close together with no privacy in conversation whatsoever.
Our tea was very enjoyable, in fact we were able to have unlimited Cappuccino’s instead of tea. The sandwiches and cakes were all nice and fresh. We brought some cakes home with us!
Delicious, generous afternoon tea. Friendly and attentive staff.
