From Our Editors

Guests can step back in time and check out the ruins of the monastic St Michael's Church and the 14th-century Gothic St Michael's Church, which was destroyed during the Coventry Blitz bombing in 1940. The present St Michael's Cathedral was designed by Basil Spence in a modernist style, and contains a large tapestry of Christ, a sculpture of Mater Dolorosa by John Bridgeman, and a bowed baptistery with an abstract design by John Piper. There's an array of access for disabled visitors, including disabled parking bays nearby and a lift from the nave to the undercroft.

Cathedral was fantastic - the Groupon voucher was for a tour that was advertised for the wrong time and had already started before we arrived

The your person didn't turn up. So we paid for nothing. Extremely disappointing as this was a birthday treat
