What You'll Get
A working farm for over 250 years, Greenmeadow Community Farm was saved from redevelopment to become a visitor attraction dedicated to educating the public about farming practices. A rural spread encompassing more than 120 acres, the farm is home to several breeds of cattle, pigs, sheep and goats. As well as traditional farm animals, there’s a variety of rodents, birds, tortoises, donkeys and Shetland ponies, plus Tamara the Shire horse. The farm gives milking demonstrations and tractor and trailer rides, and there are plenty of other activities to keep children occupied.
