The two lads serving were very friendly and we loved the afternoon tea. We were made to feel welcome.
Mother and son were lovely. Very obliging
Everything was presented beautifully and nice to have a different take on a creamtea
Thing we found strange was fresh cream, sliced strawberries and jam.........but only cakes to spread it on?
Choice of cakes weren't good for me as I don't like chocolate fairy cakes, chocolate Danish or the other chocolate cake that was on there
I personally didn't eat any sandwiches as there was nothing there that I would eat
No toilet paper in toilets mucky on floor under tables asked if could mop while eating mucky glass scones hard and crusts of bread had to ask for cocktail it came out in 1/2 pint glass disappointing as this was a Christmas gift .
It was average and we wouldn’t ret
Room and tables didn't feel clean, waitress served us wearing a winter coat. There were no saucers as per the advert. The cakes and sandwiches were stale and I had to wipe the cutlery to clean.
We were asked on repeatedly if we had a reservation which we did and had explained when we entered. Definitely would not return again.
