Maid of the loch was closed so had to go to the kilted Skirlie. Afternoon tea was great value for the money, staff were off the maid and they all were lovely couldn't do enough for us. Michaela was our excellent waitress and even David the chef came out to chat. Would be 5 star if we got to go on the boat just means I will need to go back again another time.

I pressed by how nice the dining g room was set out. Lovely to see real china dishes. Great selection of sandwiches followed by scones and yummy cakes. Plenty of tea or coffee. It was a beautiful day weatherwise and the views were amazing. Well worth a. Is it.

Very pleasant afternoon. It does require people to be able to manage stairs to go down to the dining area and these are quite steep but that aside, a good experience. Staff very helpful and friendly and eager to assist. I would recommend this. Thank you.

The service on board was great and there is more than enough food - what was meant to be 'afternoon tea for two' was more like feeding of the five thousand! All of the food was fresh and tasty. The gentleman who served us was more than happy to accommodate our special requirements, at the last minute (ensuring that the sandehiches were vegetarian and halal for my friend) and ensured that we were happy with everything and offered us refills on drinks later on. It's a nice boat with plenty windows to look out of, whilst eating, it is definitely worth the money and we would be more than happy to go back! My only complaints are that being in a small space with other groups of people also having afternoon tea and talking, rap music being played next to us at the bar and along with the coffee machine always going, it all became pretty noisy pretty quickly, so we both had to raise our voices to hear each other, other than that though, we would highly recommend it!
