Food was fine but not much atmosphere, perhaps due to going at lunchtime.

We ordered the battered pickles as a nibble before out fish and chips. Thoroughly enjoyed them. The batter on the fish was light and crispy, the chips were had a nice crunch to them. All in all - very happy.

Great fish and chips, lovely light batter and tasty chips. The white wine was nice and fruity. A great deal. We finished off with coffee. One of the nicest coffees I've had in Edinburgh.
