From Our Editors

Maid of the Forth offers daily boat trips to check out the sights on the banks and in the Waters of the River Forth, Edinburgh. Guests can spot grey seals, puffins, guillemots and razorbills, with the potential of seeing porpoises, dolphins and even Minke whales. The trips also stop off at Inchcolm Island, where guests have the option of getting off to explore for 90-minutes. Evening cruises are another option, with either a jazz band, folk band or disco, and along with their well-stocked bar and optional barbecue rib eye steak supper, they make for a comprehensive night out.

Only that it would be helpful if bar staff advised customers BEFORE serving the alcoholic drinks that the drinks cannot be taken onto Inchcolm Island.
