Would not recommend. Had such a hard time trying to get in contact with this hairdresser to arrange an appointment. Very stressful. Not a pleasant experience.

Well I walked in to be greeted by a girl who was either hungover or had a VERY bad make up day. I had pre-planned my visit by asking how long my colour and cut would take so that I could put the right amount of money in the parking meter plus extra etc. I was told 1.5-2hrs max. When I headed downstairs it looked nice and clean. There were two other ladies in the place, one of them had foils in her hair and the other was just finishing up. My appointment was at 12:15 and by 12:40 I had my tint put in my hair waiting for it to take. During this time, the girl (Leigh) was very chatty and polite however this is where things started to turn... Clearly there was an apprentice in who appeared, young, naive and somewhat immature. "You pretty much run this place" directed at Leigh from the apprentice (a girl with short dark hair and grey t-shirt). This was said after Leigh had mentioned "I expected my boss (the manager) in but hadn't turned up yet, however I seem to be running in time". This was some of the inappropriate discussions had, while surrounded by who was left (myself and lady with foils). Lunch was also eaten in the chairs where you get shampooed rather than in the room/office opposite that I clearly spotted when getting my hair dried. After I had my hair delicately washed by said apprentice she took my to get my hair dried and carefully combed my hair -(could not fault her there). However after telling Leigh I was growing my hair and only wanted the ends tidied up plus my fringe put back this was not what I walked out with. Instead I walked out with no fringe and a burning smell to me hair (due to said apprentice taking 40MINUTES to blow dry my shoulder length, thin hair with a burnt out hair drier)! I had to ask her to stop drying my hair as I was now late for my parking and it looked like a pile of frizz by this point plus I still had my cut to finish off with Leigh, who had been up the stairs the entire 30/40 minutes chatting to the Asian woman who does the nails and some other people with a crying baby. Once Leigh had "finished" cutting my fringe I then said I had to go as time had ran on too long. I had been the only one in the store for 50 minutes by this point. Upon leaving I was greeted with a blockage at the door way by a cluster of people who were doing cornrows or whatever you call it in someone's hair. I physically had to climb over people and equipment to get out the door. (MAJOR FIRE HAZARD) After I left at 14:50, I threw the loyalty card given to me straight in the bin (right outside the door) and went to my car where I was greeted with a parking ticket. I also had to find another hairdresser who could fix my fringe before going home to wash out the burnt smell to my hair (which the other hairdresser salon noticed and could not believe the state of my hair). I have bought vouchers for hairdressers from Groupon before and have been impressed with them from start to finish so I naturally bought another one. This is a massive regret. I was not only £29.50 (cost of voucher) down but also £30 for parking ticket, plus money given to other salon (£20) to fix the damage as well as time wasted. It is fair to say that even if they have just started out, the owner needs to have a serious look at her business because one thing is for sure I will not be going back or recommending anyone to this place.

It took about 3 hours to do a half head highlight which was a lot longer than normal. I feel the hairdresser could have managed her time better.

Professionalism is a good thing, it goes a long way. Also my hair looks ridiculous! The stylist has made sure my regrowth was all taken care of in the parts on my head you can see with your hair down. So today when I tied it up for work I can see these horrible lines where it goes from blonde to brown and just thick regrowth where it should have been dyed. My head is blonde on one side and brown on the other. It looks like I did a home job. I am NOT IMPRESSED what so ever! Tried to find the Facebook page to post photos to but cant seem to see it. Will NOT RECOMMEND. Groupon is so you can pull in new customers but you have done the opposite. I will say the one good thing about my experience was the very nice man who I presume is the owner/managers husband. He was very nice and welcoming!

Staff seemed run off their feet which was a shame as the experience seemed rushed and I was taken quite late. Having said that I loved my hair and this would not put me off going back.
