Excellent service. Air con now working great.
I would avoid this company at all costs. I booked a 9 am appointment for mot and did not get car back til late afternoon as they decided they would get to my car when it suited them despite appointment, meaning I had to arrange taxis to and from work and was without transport for meetings out with the office. I booked a second test when required work was completed and requested that my car was dealt with at time of appointment when I made the booking but was still kept waiting half an hour before they even looked at car. I was then given the mot certificate and left the garage. On leaving I heard a rattle and then lost power steering as I drive directly on to the motorway. This was within seconds of leaving the garage. I could not control the car and fought to steer it to the first exit with hazard lights on across 4 lanes of traffic. I then called the garage and spoke to the manager who advised that I had been told by his worker that the steering belt was dangerously worn. When I advised I'd been told nothing he conferred with the worker who had confirmed he hadn't told me anything about the condition of the belt. The manager then advised me that the steering belt was not part of the mot and it was therefore nothing to do with them despite having a legal duty of care to advise customers of anything likely to cause danger. My life was put at risk and I had to contact citizens advice. I will be forwarding complaint to ombudsmen also. There was an advisory note on mot only saying steering felt slightly rough. The mechanic handed me the pass certificate without referring to it and failed to raise any concerns with me before I left. The manager initially claimed I had been advised and then acknowledged I hadn't been. This garage could have advised me before Ieft that the needed replaced and failed to do so, I honestly dread to think what could have happened. I had to have my car towed to a garage by a breakdown company and have the required work done independently, which only took minutes to complete. Do not trust this company as they have failed to accept any responsibility as yet. Have your car tested by a reputable garage that you trust, your life may depend on it.
