Food was really nice - had the steak deal and shared some additional starters. Service was really slow, waited ages on a drink, for the order being taken and to get the bill. Staff didn’t seem to know what they were doing and there didn’t appear to be anyone in charge to guide them. Restaurant area feels a bit disjointed. Wouldn’t rush back on that basis.

This has to be the best value steak with wine dinner in Glasgow. I have been twice now and have been very impressed on both occasions, and not just with the main course. The starters and desserts are also of a very high standard, with the creme brulee being one of the best I have had in a restaurant in a long time. Before I go I must add that the chips that come with the steaks are simply outstanding. So many places these days brag about their triple cooked chips, without mentioning that the first two cookings were done in a factory before the chips were frozen. Not here. These are the best home made chips I've had since Pelican closed. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, so give it a go, you will not be disappointed.
