Unfortunately we didn't have the best experience here. We booked a table to eat at 7.30pm. When we arrived and went to order we were told the kitchen had decided to close early. They opened the kitchen again after we explained we weren't pleased about this after pre booking and travelling all the way there. We were given menus that were dirty and sticky. When we were ordering what we wanted for both starter and main, neither dish was available (sold out) so we had to just settle for a fish and chips each. The fish and chips was pretty skimpy, with about 7 chips and a teaspoon full of peas. We also heard the people at the table next to us complain. We are a young couple and are usually happy with anything! However this place should be doing much better considering its location. A little TLC on the bar's decor (missing lights, broken toilet doors, no toilet roll) and set kitchen times would make the place more appealing to new customers!

Service was dreadfully slow, not the fault of young waitress, but when I tried to speak to manager he ignored me. Problems do happen but surely a word of apology is not too much to ask. Food was average but it was good value.

Food was nice. But the place was not great. Toilets were like something out of Trainspotting and I'm not posh. And the older Hut serving behind the bar was either drunk or suffering from a 5 day bender. Wouldn't recommend. Go to Metropolitan.

It took almost 2 and a half hours to get just 2 courses which was supposed to be for a Sunday Roast deal and they had no roasts on! The supervisor, Alan, explained they had 2 staff absent and were therefore very busy. The food when eventually served tasted nice but was cold and as I was so hungry had to eat it. They supervisor and the chef seemed to spend a bit of time out having smokes and it was all pretty chaotic as well as ear blastingly loud! Wouldn't recommend and definitely would never go back!

Good deal you get a bottle of prosecco with the two course meal which is normally 15 pounds. The main course was rather small but the sweet was very nice
