Fantastic trip, very relaxed, plenty of food and drink choices on board. We had a lovely sunny day for our trip which added to the experience and the views were amazing We booked the return trip from Glasgow to Ailsa Craig, this is a very long trip (roughly 12 hours) so we decided to cut that time down by getting on and off at Largs reducing the trip to 6-7 hours and felt this was long enough without a stop over to break up the trip.

Staff were not friendly prices were ridiculous for both food and drink . Waited 30 mins to get served and on entering the dining saloon we were not given a menu and only told there were 3 choices macaroni cheese. Fish and chips or curry. So we chose from that list . When waiting on our meals being served clearly that was not all on the menu as other dishes were brought from the kitchen!

We had a wonderful day with the sun shining but please be aware if you opt for the shorter cruise you will spend a long time on shore waiting for the boats return. Not much to do.

great trip but 20 minute walk to Tarbert is a joke. There should be a shuttle bus or something for older passengers. Also no facilities at the pier either.
