Brewery, Winery or Distillery
From Our Editors
Nestled in the picturesque village of Moreton, Nags Head aims to combine the charm of a traditional country pub with modern cuisine. Its interior retains ancient beams and warming fireplaces, offering a hideaway where guests can enjoy a wide range of dishes and beverages. Using fresh, locally sourced produce, the eatery serves up English pub classics as well as an array steaks, pizzas and burgers. To complement the food and the atmosphere, the pub stocks a range of cask ales, beers, ciders and lagers, along with wines, rums, tequilas and mezcals.
TABLE DIRTY, VEG WERE COLD, BEEF ALMOST CHOCKED ON VERY CHEWY, THE RESTAURANT WAS TOO COLD TO TAKE OUR COATS OFF, OPEN FIRE BUT NOT LITE AND TOILET OUT OF ORDER!
NOT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
Warm welcome and very friendly. Sunday lunch delicious. Will definately go back
Straightforward well cooked Sunday lunch.
Lovely meal and great service
We were greeted in a friendly and welcoming way by a very charming and attentive young man who looked after us. We had a delicious roast lunch which was delicious and huge portions. Our wine was served in very elegant glasses. Only one thing we didn't like. It was cold in the dining room. A fire was laid in the grate and if it had been burning and some light or candles on it would have been a perfect Sunday afternoon.
Good traditional Sunday roast
Thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch at the Nags Head.Food was plentiful and very tasty, and the staff very pleasant.A real bargain with Groupon!
