I booked this expire early with my daughter in law. On booking I was questioned when I bought the Groupon voucher as they had stopped accepting these vouchers but went on to say 'on this occasion I will accept it' this felt really uncomfortable. Then when we arrived they provided xl dressing gowns unfortunately this didn't fit, I am a fuller figured lady, they didn't have any alternatives to wear for lunch. However the treatments were amazing. I would never book to visit here again. We were made to feel very unwelcome

Great afternoon tea but spa staff a bit disorganised and not as experienced as other spas.

Lovely hotel and the staff are great, the pool area needs some maintenance and updating to match the hotel, and it was a little disappointing that the Jacuzzi was only available for a couple of hours in the morning due to high chlorine levels, not sure why we were allowed in in the first place or why the water wasn't changed overnight. I assume this isnt a regular occurrence. All in all very good.

Had a very enjoyable pamper day. Although we did not use the pool facilities, we prefer to just have the treatments and the afternoon tea. Staff were friendly and the afternoon tea was delicious! The barman was excellent and looked after us very well, serving us on the terrace and frequently checking we were happy and asking if we required anything.

We went for a spa day. The hot tub had been broken for 3 weeks and we had not been informed prior to our booking that it would not be available for use which really limited our enjoyment of the the spa facilities. I had a massage in the spa but the massage table was broken so that it could not be lowered. Hence the masseuse could not put any pressure on when massaging. Also getting on and off the table was ungraceful and not a great way to finish a massage. Our groupon included afternoon tea. the afternoon tea room was beautiful. However, the afternoon tea was very disappointing. There was no choice of teas, the bread for the sandwiches was clearly unfancy sliced bread and some of the crusts were left on. The scones were very small, I would have expected 2 scones per person based on their size. Finally I found the sweets selection underwhelming but have no strong complaints. It was the first time I had taken my friend for afternoon tea and the experience has not left her with the desire to have afternoon tea again. I, on the other hand, am a big fan of afternoon tea but would not recommend the Majestic for an afternoon treat.

Dissapointing. Brought the couples deal and although the treatments were nice we didn't feel we could enjoy the facilities as a couple. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi was out of order and the steam rooms were in separate locations meaning we couldn't enjoy together. Chlorine was put in the Jacuzzi whilst we were in the pool which made us both feel uncomfortable and get a sore throat. The afternoon tea and champagne was pleasant but with the poor facilities we only sent 2 hours, including treatment at the venue.
