The camp site is badly kept and is not clean. The sign to the site has twisted the wrong way so directs into a farmers field and they haven't bothered to turn it back the right way. The logs required to heat the tipi are expensive and must be purchased from the shop, and no instructions were given on using the burner safely, notwithstanding notices inside stating the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. I would not return here.

Need to update site information as it is very misleading. Not suitable for family holidays.

Really enjoyed our stay. With little leaf litter on the ground (certainly in the upper wood) we wondered whether some chipped bark paths might keep the mud down when it has been wet (but maybe that would spoil the woodland feel?) Walking past all the caravans (some of which are a little tired) to get to the upper wood did make the site feel a bit neglected. Overall we enjoyed our stay - love being able to have a campfire. Thank you.
