From Our Editors

The Crazy Bear Group is a collection of outstanding hotels and restaurants, acclaimed for its Thai cuisine and dramatic decor. The Crazy Bear Stadhampton A unique boutique hotel with flamboyant character. Set in 80 acres and surrounded by rural Oxfordshire countryside, just 15 minutes from Oxford and less than 40 miles from London. The ‘original’ Crazy Bear comprises eclectic accommodation, award-winning English and Thai restaurants, two bars, four private function rooms, abundant gardens and terraces, and is home to The Crazy Bear Farm, farm shop and outdoor pursuits. The Sunday Times were so impressed they included it in their list of the Top Ten British Hotels. The Crazy Bear Fitzrovia A sophisticated restaurant and bar situated between Tottenham Court Road and Charlotte Street with a list of accolades including The London Lifestyle Awards Best Restaurant, The Evening Standard’s Best Bar of the year, Theme Magazine’s Best Designed and Best Operated Bar, and The Times’ runner up for Best Bar in Southern England. The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield A decadent oasis of elaborate luxury. Situated in the centre of the beautifully quintessential-English Old Town Beaconsfield, just minutes from the M40 J2 and less than 20 minutes by train from London Marylebone. The oldest documented building in Beaconsfield comprises sumptuous accommodation, lavish English and Thai restaurants, two bars, four private function rooms, and a terrace with swimming pool and Jacuzzi. As a result, Conde Nast have featured it in their Red Hot List of the Best New Hotels in the World.

Booking with your voucher is straight forward and, dare I say it, easy! The venue is first class and we were impressed.

We recently went for the sushi at the crazy bear and I personally expected a lot more than typical sushi/shamimis/temakis(hand rolls) that you could get on a takeaway. The quality was ok but not worth £60 let alone £120. I also thought they were very cheeky in charging service charge (12.5%) on top of the whole bill (despite having paid for it in advanced), when it should have been only on the extra items that we consumed there (like 2 cocktails).

Great surroundings and excellent food. Service was OK. My only criticism is that there is no mirror in the disabled toilets. In such an opulent place I feel that it's a shame that this has been overlooked as disabled people like to be able to see if they look ok too!
