Quirky and blingy, the food and service is great. Allow time for parking though.

I very rarely complain but I was so disappointed with the service I've made an exception as it was totally unexpected. Short-hand of issues from start to finish. Crazy Bear Fitzrovia No time to settle, Did not take on board not ready to order and food brought too quickly meaning it was pre-cooked or prepped Too many people fussing over me and asking if wanting anything else Felt rushed from start to finish Food very tasty, Plate size too small to cut food up on Cutlery not appropriate for lobster meaning the best claw meat was left Asked for a hot towel after handling lobster. I was brought with some delay a cold and soaking wet towel but thankfully a dry towel also. No napkin replaced with desert cutlery so had to steal from another table and this still was not replaced by the time diners arrived at that table. Had not asked for the check and I clearly had not finished at the table but left to go to the rest room and once I was back the table had been reset and Cloak room card removed by staff. Sitting back at the newly laid table I asked for the cheque and it was brought over quickly, but as soon as a I got my card out and started to look at the bill the staff was already waiting to take payment and needed the cheque to see how much to charge me. All just very rushed and a dis-jointed service. Paid service charge still as only a few quid but to end the catalogue of service errors after my cloak room items were returned promptly, was, I did not even receive a thank you or a good bye despite walking past 3 staff members and even my acknowledgment and good bye was missed. Great food and nice interior let down by a faulty service which I could have forgiven but there was no justification for being made to feel to leave and rush especially when I was already aware I could have the table for 2 hours and I still had 10 min left at the time of leaving. Would like to return to give it a second chance but would require an incentive to now do so. Summery, taste buds tantalised, everything else felt festinate. Disappointing as un-necessary and not expected.

Normal price advertised on groupon was £50. On arrival the normal price was £39.50 - not as large a discount as was being advertised. The scones were amazing, the sandwiches tasty but the cakes were terrible.
