A family run cafe, Kells Kitchen is located near River Chew and just a short walk away from the Clock Tower. The establishment specialises in buffets and celebration cakes and cupcakes to order but is more than happy to invite customers for a bite on their premises. Visitors can indulge in classic afternoon teas.
The place was bright, airy and for a small tea shop this was quite a surprise.
There was a good range of sandwiches and the scones were delicious, but what made the afternoon tea was the home made cakes.
would definitely recommend and i will be returning.
Lovely, friendly atmosphere, very obliging with extra jam and cream for our scones.
Lovely big pot of tea and fresh food. Will definitely return.
Lovely fresh sandwiches & cakes. Very friendly staff. Lovely little cafe. Would definitely recommend.
Groupon bought for parents who really enjoyed their visit. Great food and owner/staff really polite and welcoming.
Great afternoon tea and very friendly staff.
Friendly staff, clean surroundings, very nice food, will definitely visit again.
I bought afternoon tea for a gift and was told it was alright. Booking is mandatory and it wasn't easy booking, no responses to any messages I left so wouldn't use again.
Very small cafe. My sister and I had afternoon tea. The food was ok, but the sandwiches and cake were miniscule, one mouthful and they were gone. I think they should take a look at what other places offer. I would not go back. Not value for money.
Very nice and friendly people. Good location opposite the park. Afternoon tea was great. Would definitely go back
Lovely tastie cream tea, fresh sandwiches and the cakes and scone were soft and fresh. Would definitely go again and with the dog next time as dog friendly premises
