From Our Editors

Located in the rolling hills of Shropshire's countryside, Astbury Hall is a historic stately home with 350 acres of idyllic land, including an 18-hole golf course. The course has the unusual distinction of being the first designed by KK Downing, the former lead guitarist for heavy metal band Judas Priest, and fanatical golf enthusiast. A restaurant also features, serving up a variety of European dishes for breakfast, lunch and all parties and functions.

It would have been nice if the member of staff in the Pro shop had been a little more friendly and informative i.e. score card, distance markers.
