The place and crockery was very 'vintage' which we loved - it wasn't a problem but it would have been nice to have a teapot and china cups to match everything else rather than a mug of tea - but it didn't direct from the fact that this was an excellent afternoon tea with a great selection and we all enjoyed it immensely. We would return.

Thanks for a speedy and excellent service, even though our booking did not get written down and you were not expecting us. Also for the lovely child's meal which was presented beautifully.

Had afternoon tea! Only a selection of 2 fillings in sandwiches and odd number of cakes! Had one piece of chocolate cake which we had to ask for a knife to cut in half!!

I booked afyernoon tea for 2, I was asked by email anything we didn't like/ preferences. I said all brown bread and no egg. I received 4 of each tiny sandwichs, egg in brown and ham in white. Worst afternoon tea I've had and one of the most expensive. Salad looked like on needed to go in the bin. Thick margarine on bread, dry scones with no fruit in them, smart price jam. Two hard blocks of lemon cake, saucers for plates, no knifes to spread jam. Left and went next door for something to eat, if it hadn't of been already paid I wouldn't of paid the bill.
