Took my Grandson, 13 yrs. We were there a little early so went around the Cathedral first, well worth doing and just across the road. The ground floor of the visitor centre was hard going in that there was a lot to read, however I found it really informative and it did n't put my Grandson off, however he really enjoyed upstairs as there were several interactive exhibits, eg you could build up the skull digitally, there was the skeleton showing the wounds in his head that were inflicted. Overall well worth it and a good day out. We used the park 'n'ride 203, stopped just around thecorner and afterwards we did the Richard 111 walking trail, map cost £1 from the Visitor Centre, and it took about an hour to complete but helped to make a full day. We had lunch in town before walking the trail which brought us back to the Visitor Centre and the bus and had a mid morning drink in the cafe, and sat in the courtyard which was lovely. Great value and a good day out.

The info is well presented in a modern manner there is a lot of reading though but I think you would get something out of the visuals. Took about 1.5 - 2 hours to go round it all. Lovely cafe and outside eating area.

Fascinating morning. Visited the cathedral, what an amazing place, delightful volunteers offering help and information. The modern stain glass windows are stunning. The Richard III visitor centre, was well laid out, light and airy, giving a comprehensive view of the Richard III story. Well worth a visit.
