Sussex Past is an archaeological society, founded in 1846. It aims to help people enjoy and discover more about the heritage of Sussex through walks, talks, and an array of historical sites to visit. Guests can poke their nose round the Anne of Cleves House, Lewes Castle, and see The Long Man, the gargantuan drawing of a human form on the South Downs.

Lovely place to visit, especially during the Christmas season. Enjoyed the wonderful bell ringers. Friendly staff and nice food at the cafe.

Lovely day out, really enjoyed it. The staff were great and the cafe was wonderful with homemade cakes and scones.

We visited Michelham Priory, it was a lovely day, lovely grounds, interesting Priory. Very friendly staff ~ it was a very nic experience Will visit other Sussex Past places next time I'm in the area

Ann of Cleeves was fascinating and beautifuuly restored. Lovely garden and museum as well.
