As it was a gift for my sister in law the feedback from her was excellant.
The group on voucher is excellent value
Great food. Good scenery and great service. Would recommend the whole experience
No one met us - completely ignored for over 1/2 hr so we sat in the bar and purchased drinks - these were given in the bottle no glasses were offered - I had to ask for a glass - the glass was given - I had to ask for ice and the drinks to be put in the glasses.
Only two couples in the restaurant .
Although I’d rang and booked and told them I was intilerent to rapeseed I had to explain this again at least 3 times to the same waiter.
I heard to waiter shout OMG when going into the kitchen.
The food tasted very nice.
Lacked any presentation.
I was ill all night and the next day - I rang and told them - they took my detail heard nothing yet.
I general the restaurant looked nice they had a shutter hiding the clutter but this wasn’t closed so I was sat looking at this when I should of been looking at the water or the church.
The carpet and chairs were dirty.
No member of staff seemed to care it was just a job.
Yes they added service to the bill.
Lovely location, food and service.
Waiting staff great, but annoyed me by putting bread that hadn’t been requested. Kitchen slow. Food very good for price
Good food , helpful waiter and pleasant place for a meal
Pleasant staff, crisp white tablecloths, perfectly cooked food and beautiful views across Lincoln.
Venue great, lovely views from 5th floor; but food nothing special and left rather disappointed.
Food only mediocre but my main concern was that the Groupon voucher claimed the value was £57.80 yet the actual cost of the two course meal on the hotel menu was £16.95 giving a total for two people of £33.90. We were told that we could select a glass of house wine each. I did complain to the manager saying I thought it was totally wrong and he then said I could choose any wine to make up the total. Never had this problem before with Groupon vouchers. Not happy there at all. I must add though that the large glasses of wine we eventually chose were excellent.
