My wife and I used the groupon offer in The Kitchen for what was described as 'An Amercian Breakfast' expecting what we saw in the picture. However, the experience left a lot to be desired. When we arrived the staff didn't appear to be setup for the Groupon offer and had to write down all the details before they could take our order. They also appeared to be I uninformed and asked us what we wanted, requiring us to check to advert again to explain it to them. We both decided on the pancakes with bacon and a tea and coffee. However, the food was ok, nothing special, certainly nothing like the picture used in the advert. Instead of four stacked pancakes, with beacon, surup and butter, like I have experienced in the US. Instead it was something I could have made myself in the house. Definately not worth driving from Newtownabbey to experience. However the worse customer service came from the manager, who decided he should scan my voucher while I was trying to feed my child. I felt like some sort of cheat or fraud as the other customers heard him checking my voucher on my ipad suspiciously. All while I struggled to hold my child, a bottle and operate the ipad for him. Had he trained his staff they might have scanned this at the beginning when we placed the order. Overall it was a terrible experience! What made matters worse the offer was dubious, considering breakfasts priced on the board outside where under £5 and conveniently the shop had blocked out the American Breakfast price. This has been my worse Groupon offer ever and seriously not worth the price I paid. I would feel if this is the type of offers and merchants now permitted on Groupon, I can no longer promote offers or participant with confidence
