The food was quite nice but because it was a Groupon voucher we had a very limited menu and felt like was treated differently from a regular diner!

I had purchased two groupons for a three course meal with Prosecco and booked in on 29th November at 19:15 at Liverpool Albert dock. It was my birthday and I envisaged a lovely evening with my partner and family. We were seated and I explained to the waitress it was a groupon however she did not seem to fully understand me. We gave our order and I asked if we could have our Prosecco, the female was very rude saying ‘ITS A GLASS NOT A BOTTLE,’ then stormed off we then waited about 30 minutes for the Prosecco. We were interrupted several times to see the groupon voucher and ordered off the relevant menu which was not a problem. However When ordering our dessert we were told ‘BECAUSE YOU'VE HAD YOUR PROSECCO YOU CANNOT HAVE A DESSERT’ I pointed out the groupon clearly stated three course so she went and got management who took twenty minutes coming back an forth checking the voucher eventually agreeing that I was right and that the voucher included the dessert. Then after asking for the bill I noticed that all the food had been Added even tho we had paid for it in the groupon. Again I had to speak to the manager to have this corrected explaining that we only really needed to pay for drinks this again took about twenty minutes with constant backwards and forwards from staff. I found this whole experience embarrassing and completely ruined my night in front of my family I am deeply upset at the treatment we received an saddened that I was made to feel like a liar being constantly questioned by staff and made to feel like a nuisance. I would not want to put any other family through what I was put through that night.
