Friendly staff from moment I booked. Great value and were not made to feel "oh group on booking" like some have been. Would recommend it for a quiet romantic break or as us, somewhere to stay overnight whilst travelling from one part of Wales to another on a hectic business trip as easily accessible from M4 and centrally located.

Vista hotel has great potential & it is one of the very few places going for that area. I wouldn't like to rate it in comparison to boutique hotels in thriving towns or cities, it simply wouldn't be fare. They should Cary on with great offers to build their business, then they could invest more into the facilities that need attention!

very pleasant and welcoming staff. The food was absolutely gorgeous..fillet steaks to die for and the breakfast out of this world.

The food was very good and nicely presented. There is no car park for an overnight stay and all on road parking is by resident's permit only. Therefore there is no way that a visitor to Llanelli could bring a car! Groupon should make it clear that the hotel is only accessible if travelling by public transport. The room was newly refurbished and very clean. No toiletries were offered, but there was a bar of chocolate and tea/coffee facilities. The first morning there was no hot water to the tapor shower. The new hotel manager tried to adjust the plumbing but to no avail. We had to go out for the whole day feeling grubby. Fortunately, this had been fixed so that we could shower before dinner. The first evening, although having booked for 8pm., we had to wait an hour before the first course arrived. A complimentary pot of cauliflower cheese and an apology was received. The first morning my choice of Welsh breakfast was unavailable, and still unavailable on the second morning - even though the cockles and laver bread were both on sale in the local market half a mile away! My second choice (smoked salmon and egg) was also unavailable. The owner is trying very hard to keep this hotel going, but it was a bit like Fawlty Towers.
