I haven’t had my brace fitted yet but I chose this dentist purely for the price and that I could drive rather than getting a train.
My first consultation the dentist advised me it would be best to have both arches done ( I was expecting this so wasn’t surprised) and everyone has to see a hygienist before the fitting.
I had two sessions with the hygienist and although it was extra money that I wasn’t expecting to pay out and I was initially told the appointment was 60 minutes long when it was 25 minutes and I then had to pay another £60 for another 25 minutes the lady was fab, I would highly recommend her and felt she was worth the money.
The dentist so far also seems very nice, the practice is clean and very friendly.
I have my brace fitting Tuesday and I feel confident and at ease that the outcome will be as expected.
This dentist is an hour’s drive from my home and I chose to use a groupon deal to keep the price low, the total price is more than expected and I probably could of paid the same at a local dentist.
Price breakdown as follows :
Groupon £750- one arch.
Lower arch ( advised by dentist on consultation) £700
X-ray ( compulsory) £45
Hygienist ( at least one compulsory session) £60 X2 25 min sessions £120
Fitted retainers for both arches £300
Total - £1915
