What You'll Get
The Ehrenfried Method was created in the 1930s by the physiotherapist and doctor, Lily Ehrenfried. During a small group class of up to ten people, the therapist aims to improve mobility and flexibility by teaching the class gentle movements and breathing techniques to align the spine and joints. Follow-up classes track development and identify the need for complementary exercises.
The Putney and Balham based centres for The Ehrenfried Method offer classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. They promote a form of physiotherapy that enlightens the patient’s understanding. The method allows clients to develop deep body awareness and apply good posture alignment on a daily basis, so their development is not therapist dependent.
