The food was vey poor quality...more fitting to a burger bar than the suggested photos that convinced me to book. The staff had no idea of letting you dine. Our waitress served up our main while we were only half way through the stater! As the starter was unappetising( fried Brie ...but actually not melted as its supposed to be.It looked more like it came from Iceland freezer department with a side of sad undressed salad. The fajitas must have been ready to serve as soon as we'd sat down as this came to us half dried out like it had been kept warm in the oven. The fajita contained 4 small 'bits' of chicken. It looked more like an onion fajita! We complained to the waitress who was reluctant to get the manager and suggested we see the 'chef'??!???!!! The supposed chef was working in full view of everyone wearing a football shirt!!...not the professional attire I'd expect when someone is cooking for the public. To cut a long story short this was a 'treat' that turned into nightmare! Gigalum shouldn't sell their eaterie as a restaurant experience as really it's for people who are probably drunk and don't care what they are putting in their mouth.Even our waitresses confessed that she only really works on the bar but then struggled when I asked her if she had a wine more full bodied??? When you compare the website and photos that drew me into the deal I feel like I've been totally mugged off! Will continue to tell people to avoid this establishment and won't book a group on deal again where food is concerned.
