Healthy eating and fine dining are never mentioned in the same breath, but at Kasturi, these two phrases come together. Kasturi was opened in 2002 by Indian cuisine guru Bashir Ahmed. The highly acclaimed Indian food restaurant brings a taste of India to England, and represents Indian subcontinent cuisine genuinely and outstandingly. If one wants to treat family, friends or take business clients to a dinner with a difference, this place is sure to impress. The restaurant serves up a rich menu with varied dishes from India, such as chicken tikka, naan bread and rice biryani; and snacks such as samosas and seekh kebab, among many other tantalizing dishes. Kasturi not only caters to those who go to the restaurant for meals, but also for events such as office parties, birthday parties, office lunch deliveries, high level meetings, among other events. They are versatile in their service and have highly qualified kitchen staff who have years of knowledge in the preparation of Indian cuisine. The food is prepared in the traditional Indian tandoori oven, where food cooks in dry heat, giving it a healthy crispy taste. The menu is affordable and the ambiance of the restaurant gives diners a pleasant mood that can only be replicated in India.
