I have recently had 3 operations on my hip in three years so asked to use the disabled facility. It was a nightmare. It was like a huge wet room so everything got wet from the shower and there was no where dry to stand or sit. The locker was unstable and kept falling sideways on to the shelf alongside. which was also unstable. I could not sit down to dress and there was nothing to hold on to whilst I stood up to dress. There were grab rails by the sink and toilet but none by the shower or near the locker area.!! On two occasions I realised that reception staff had been into the room whilst I was swimming to use the loo as their nearest loo was on the first floor. They come in from poolside and go out from the other door which leads into reception so that is left unlocked for anyone to come in at any time!! It is a shame because it looks like a fantastic facility but in practice it isn't. When or if I go again, depending on groupons(!) I will use the general facility and hope and pray the small cubicle in the ladies' changing room is vacant so that I can use my 'grabber' to get dry and dressed in private. Everyone has been most pleasant but tell me that the facility has not been updated since it was opened . Please could you reply to these comments . Marian Hintze
