Winner of the Good Food Guide’s London Best Restaurant Award in 2009, L’etranger in Kensington serves Japanese-influenced French cuisine, as well as maki and sashimi alongside a world-class wine selection. The restaurant has earned over 30 accolades, including an AA Rosette for Best Wine List in the UK 2013, since its opening in 2002. Signature dishes at L’etranger include the renowned caramelised black cod with miso and pomme gallette as well as the pan seared Scottish scallops with truffle puree. Named for Albert Camus’s 1942 work, the restaurant’s interior echoes the Nobel Prize-winner’s minimalist writing style.
