London Lash Room, located in the Clapham area of London, offers a range of treatments related to semi-permanent eyelash extensions. London Lash Room is based at the Sandra Webb Salon and appointments are available on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. Semi-permanent eyelash extensions originate from Japan where they first came about in the late 1990s. They are now the celebrity choice when it comes to eyelash extensions. They can make your natural lashes look fuller, thicker and longer. A single synthetic, silk or mink lash is attached to a natural eyelash using medical grade adhesive. It is possible to get eyelash extensions in various colours, shapes, lengths and thicknesses, depending on the client's specific requirements. All technicians at the salon are fully qualified and insured. The semi-permanent eyelash extension treatment can take up to two hours for a full set of around 60-80 lashes per eye. The effect of this treatment can last up to 8 weeks, but this depends on the cycle of hair growth, the adhesive used and any subsequent periodic in-fills. It is recommended that an in-fill be carried out every 2-3 weeks to keep lashes healthy looking and to replace any lashes which have fallen out. As the eyelash grows out it falls out naturally and the extension also falls out, therefore this treatment is not permanent. These lash extensions can be worn during sleep, showering and swimming. Appointments can be made by telephone.
