My son and friends really enjoyed their underground treasure hunt, so much so that I bought another one for Christmas for my daughter and friends.

We had an extremely pleasant evenings entertainment searching out the clues. Great prizes too. A very good time.

My group didn't enjoy it and didn't think that they had learnt anything about the underground or London. Neither did another group that we met.

Reason I wouldn't do it again is just because I imagine another treasure hunt would be pretty similar! Also without groupon I think it's a bit expensive, as you then have to buy a travel card each as well, and I didn't think the prizes really reflected that. A couple of bits of feedback - I think the treasure hunt quizmaster should mark all of the 'open to interpretation questions' which alter how many points you get, otherwise one team might mark the 'twin' question as worthy of 10 points for example, another team might think was worth 30. So it would be fairer if the quizmaster did all those! And there were 27 teams the evening we went - if there are that many teams I think someone else should be there to help mark and award prizes when it finishes - it took ages for the poor quizmaster to do that on his own!

There was a lot of history which wasn't necessarily required for a 'Ripper' tour -we could see the links but others couldn't. As its a 'Ripper' tour concentrate on the Ripper, victims, etc and take to the actual murder sites if possible not just mitre square. It was great to finish at mitre square. Could even start at aldgate station and walk round this area only. Would've been nice to hear about the victims, possible murderers, where they lived and what they did etc on the way round the tour not just at the end. Long walk to hear all the good info at the end. Possibly cut down to one and a half hours as I think its good value for £7-10. We really Enjoyed the walk but noticed that others dropped out early.
