It was an unlimited Roof Top BBQ at No.5 Cavendish Square. I'd like to warn others looking to book something similar to this as it was a gross representation of what was expected. The BBQ itself was pasta, lettuce,bread roll, chicken wings, sausage and a beef patty.The deal was not unlimited and I was told you could come back for maybe a sausage after you had been up once. It was served on paper plates and the raw chickens were in buckets of water. There were approximately 9 small tables (one being reserved) and around 27 seats. The seats were occupied as at 4pm there were around 85 people in 3 small areas. There was also no rooftop???? The welcome drink was a nice watered down cocktail with no choice. Being a Londoner, I know that also a nice venue NO.5 isn't all that exclusive, so I was surprised when the check in guy acted like we were trying to get into the queen's suite at the Dorchester. Starr Parties have obviously hired the venue and put this function on and sold tickets through Groupon. It was very cheap on all accounts and if I was the PR rep for No 5. I would have been horrified. A last point was the DJ was good and I left after an hour so MAYBE things had improved.
