With about ten years of experience, Oktango UK Ltd has cut a name for itself as far as tango lessons in London are concerned. Since its inception in 2004, the company has seen significant growth as many joined the classes in London. Currently there are over five locations in where one can practice the argentine tango. You can therefore join the classes at Walthamstow, Kensington in Chelsea, Notting Hills and Aldgate among others. In addition, the curriculum has been formulated to ensure convenience and ease of teaching. For instance, the tutorials exist in videos too to serve the online community. To further ensure flexibility, Oktango UK Ltd has a mobile app (for iPhone) to guarantee training on the go. If there is anything thing that distinguishes Oktango UK Ltd from other dance groups, it is their approach to training. As mentioned before, the training methods are flexible and cheap. Secondly, they use a four level training module with assessments to ensure that only fine dancers are produced. Briefly put, there is the Foundation/Level 1 (where one learns how to dissociate, rebound, change directions and open embrace) followed by Level 2. Also known as Element, Level 2 introduces the trainee to pivoting, close embrace, ochos and circular energy. Oktango UK Ltd, after assessment, then introduces the dancer to Connectivity and Dynamics techniques such as pivot on feet, decorations and paradas among others. The final stage (Level 4) refines the student by introducing them to advanced tango dance techniques.
