From Our Editors
A permanent feature on London Thames Embankment since 1974, R.S. Hispaniola invites guests aboard for a la carte dining, evening drinks and intimate parties. Formerly named the Maid of Ashton, the ship was originally launched in 1953 and had a 20-year career carrying passengers around Scotland. Today, the Hispaniola features iconic city views of the London Eye, Hungerford Bridge and Jubilee Gardens, and boasts a restaurant and bar, plus a sun deck for when the sun makes an appearance.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, good food
Found it hard to book, had to contact groupon. Staff not overly friendly - but okay. Sandwiches were nice, but cakes were not cooked fresh. We were put on a table in the corner so we’re abit disappointed as felt we were just put out the way!
it wasnt pretty good deal in the end because they have similar offer but with bottomless prosecco. Also RS Hispaniola looks pretty shabby...
We had a lovely dinner onboard and got vouchers to do a Thames cruise.
