From Our Editors

London Horror Tours have been providing guides to London’s murky underbelly since 2002. Tours take place around the city, from Highgate and Baker Street to Tower Hill, covering everything from Sherlock Holmes to Vampires and Ghosts. True crime tours are also available, examining key locations for Jack The Ripper, as well as The Kray Twins. Private tours are offered, as well as tours later into the evening for braver souls.

The tour guide left us feeling rushed around & worked the tour to where he wanted to finish in time for him to go off to his other plans that evening, my partner felt we had missed important parts of a tour out & i was missing lead to believe I was getting adiscount by booking these tickets when it turns out I hadn't, i would recommend this at all to any, left very disappointed from this experience

Although the guide seemed keen and knowledgeable on his subject. His talk on the subject was very garbled and confusing to follow.

What bothers me is that the guide, though really passionate about the subject, didnt stay on topic. I was on Sherlock tour and he talked about jack the ripper, the mews and the weird combination of language that was spoken in London. Though maybe interesting, I didnt get the point or maybe i didnt understand (accent was strong, couldnt catch everything he says)

I haven't been able to go as although I followed the instructions on line and emailed my choice if dates and times, along with the grouping codes for my 3 vouchers I never received any reply. I eventually found a contact number and spoke with 'dr jack'. He was quite jury and told me I'd done it all wrong and to just turn up at a time I was unable to make. He said this was the only time - 6.30pm on a Saturday - that the walk was available. As I'd heard nothing and the vouchers will expire before next Saturday I have been unable to use them. The web details still say the tour is available between 2.00 and 3.30 so is completely inaccurate. Had that been correct there would have been no problem me using the vouchers and I feel I should receive a refund now as I can't use them.

Very educational, but please speak clearer, as some of my group couldn't understand half of what was said.

The form created for booking tours is not very user friendly if you appen to have more than one voucher for more than one person - I had to go through the whole process twice. you also ask for three dates, however it is not easy for me to provide 3 dates straight away as one voucher is a gift for someone who works shifts - and as yet I still do not know if I am booked on the tour or not - so response times could be faster
