Sierra Walking Tours was established with the aim of entertaining and informing tourists visiting London from all around the world. The company offers three seasonal excursions, each covering a different area of Britain's capital city. In spring, visitors can discover the old East End, in summer the docks, rivers and parks, and in autumn they can take part in Jack the Ripper anniversary tours.
The guide repeated himself incessantly. He would use phrases like "didn't he...?" when teaching us about a new subject which gets irritating because obviously I don't know... that's why I am on your tour, mate! He laughed constantly- on a Jack the Ripper Tour- cracking jokes (which weren't the least bit humorous yet he laughed his head off at himself with every joke!) and completely ruining the ambience. He would tell us one fact one minute and then say something else the next- Elizabeth was from Gothenburg at the start of the talk and from Stockholm by the end. Very irritating. I do not normally give up on an activity no matter how little I enjoy it but I was tempted numerous times to walk away. Would not recommend to anyone and also cancelled the other tour bookings I had made with this company.
