Skiplex is a different kind of dry slope with softer nylon surfaces and a fully adjustable slope. Simulator training means that learners can really focus on specific techniques by adjusting the gradient and speed of the slopes. Furthermore, time is saved, as there is no need for lifts and escalators, and ‘runs’ can last up to 15 minutes. With venues in Chiswick, Basingstoke and Reading, the centres offer an efficient way to learn to ski or board. There’s a viewing gallery for visitors and a mirror so that skiers and snowboarders can see for themselves how they are getting on.
