From Our Editors
Stormont Studios provides recording, mixing, instrumentals and all activities necessary for music production. It also serves as a venue for rehearsals (for a range of performances), unmonitored mixing, experience days and point of sale for blank CDs and DVDs. Stormont runs three distinct studios from which clients can carry out their music production: studio A, B and Mics & Backline. Stormont experience days serve as tour days for clients who desire to walk around a studio or who wish to use it for recording and producing a number of tracks with assistance from the studio's engineers on instrumentals, lyrics, mp3 online email delivery or CDs. Charges for experience days depend on the number of recorded tracks, the time clients spend in the studio, whether assistance was accorded by the studio's engineers and their number. Other services' fees follow the same pattern. Clients can book a minimum of one hour use of the studio and a maximum of 8 hours every day of the week alone or with others. Unlike regular days (Monday - Saturday), higher charges apply for clients' use of the studio on Sundays and bank holidays per hour. Clients can book their appointments in person, via calls, email or online at least 14 days prior to their appointment date. After booking, clients must pay an initial deposit several days before the date of their event through PayPal, master debit and credit cards, cheques and or in cash. Cheques must be submitted 10 days before the event and PayPal payments must be arranged by the studio's staff.
