Success School of Motoring provides driving lessons across the south east of London in the Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth boroughs. The driving school, which was established in 1969 by Ernest Mason, provides various types of lessons for beginner drivers through to nervous drivers wishing to gain confidence, and the more advanced wanting to improve their skill. Lessons are taught by Winston Mason, son of Ernest Mason, who has appeared in the TV documentaries 'Britain's Worst Learners' and 'Gridlock and Road Rage' and has been DSA qualified since 1992. During his appearance on 'Britain's Worst Learners' four of the six learners he taught went on to pass their test. Lessons can be booked in hourly slots, or intensive courses of 20, 30 or 40 hours and discounts are given on block bookings. Lessons are available 6 days a week and evening lessons are available until 7pm on weekdays. Lessons can be carried out in the customer's own vehicle, so they don't have the hassle of getting used to different cars. The driving school offers lessons in pass plus, parking, manoeuvres and motorway driving as well as offering refresher lessons and lessons for nervous drivers. The school will also carry out mock tests and have online theory test help. The aim of the Success School of Motoring is to teach driving as a life skill and each lesson is tailor made to suit each customer.
