The Calm Blue Room is a physiotherapy and sports injuries clinic that makes use of the new, successful Emmett technique and Bowen technique to help with muscle tension and pain. The Calm Blue Room gives you a free 15 minutes assessment with a Physiotherapist before the start of the treatment. Physiotherapy is advised for any muscle related condition like shoulder problems, lower back pain, neck stiffness, hip problems and wrist issues, but patients who suffer from Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinsons disease should also have physiotherapy. The Bowen Technique is a light treatment of the muscles and the connective tissues that results in a better body position. The Emmett Technique brings pain relief and increases mobility through body pressure on critical points. Clients who are involved in sports may need a sports massage to relieve or prevent injuries. Techniques like the Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation Stretching, Miofascial release or Trigger point therapy that are applied at this clinic can reduce recovery time, relieve pain and minimise the chances of injury. The Calm Blue Room also offers deep tissue massage to restore normal movement and reduce inflammation for clients with heavy physical activity. The Shiatsu massage is used to treat headaches, depression, stress and lack of energy, while a Swedish massage, also called Classic massage, increases blood circulation and releases toxins from muscles. Clients who need a mobile treatment at home or work can choose the chair massage, where more people can be treated in a shorter period of time without the need to undress.
