From Our Editors

For their 21st Anniversary tour, The Circus of Horrors rolls out Welcome to the CarnEvil, and takes audiences back in time to Victorian London. The show tells the story of a young girl dreaming about running away and joining a circus troupe. The dream soon turns into a nightmare as she finds herself in a gruesome CarnEvil, filled with Killer Klowns, Sword Swallowers, Demon Dwarves and Death-Defying Aerialists. A Guinness Record-holding Hairculian Diva and fire-limboing acrobats also feature, as the show climaxes in a flaming apocalypse to the sound of devil-driven rock n’ roll played live by Dr Haze & The Interceptors from Hell.

We seen another version of the circus of horrors in Spain and it was awesome. this version was an ego trip for an aging wannabe rock star surrounded by mediocre acts that had very little horror not to be recommended

I did not go into this thinking it would be the most amazing thing I had ever seen, however I did feel it would entertain me enough to warrant making the journey to Shephards Bush. It was slow moving and lame, we left 40 minutes into the show.

It turns out the Horror was about how horrifically ugly everything looked. The production was a sort of 1979 slow and amateurish nightmare... Left at interval because I was so bored...
